the weekend

aside from the never ending investment tutorial 3, and the very pleasant market analysis report.. me and mei (the girl nex door) decided we had had enough of all the boring shit and need desperately to breathe some outside air! we... went to the beach! hahahaa.. and since we are both really really broke.. i made her promise to control my shopping instinct and limit my spending to the minimum ( i supposedly hav only 50 dollars left for the rest of the month...

met at 3pm and since the day was quite young and extremely sunny.. we decided to 'window shop' for a while first while we buy some snacks to the beach.. so as we 'window shop'.........

oh well.. first and second piece in f21.. the dress and the scarf.. so pretty isn't it?? lol

so after the beach.. we went back to vivo to have our dinner, which means.. another round of shopping (the girl nex door wanted to find a sun dress to match a long shawl she bought before we went to the beach-.- *weirdness*)... and being a person with conscience and all.. i tried to convince mei to eat sth cheap in the foodcourt.. but in the end, i dis-convinced myself instead.. so ended up with steamboat dinner..

total damage= SGD 56 (the 1st 2nd piece^_^)+ SGD 6 (snacks)+ SGD 18( steamboat dinner)+ SGD 3 (ticket to sentosa)===> 9 hours of happiness

it really served me right today, or rather, every monday for that matter. LOL. i've been umbrella-less for the longest time i could remember. did i ever own one? hmm.. probably 10 years ago?? the red little umbrella. i never really need one until now. haha.. i've always have ppl to share their umbrella with me. yea. i'm one of those princesses who are always blessed enough to have very nice friends to hold their umbrellas over my head. well. was. haha. things changed princess, so next time please don't conveniently let it slip your mind to get a goddamn umbrella, ok?!? i missed my tutorial last monday due to heavy rain and half an hour late for my very important dissertation talk this monday.

so today was no different from any other rainy monday. i had so foreseen it was going to rain and hence rush to the door as soon as i can. i even gave up on trying to push my rain-hater-printer to print m notes. and no prize for guessing. it poured cats and dogs when i reached the ground area of my flat. DAMN. i braved through the rain till i got to the flat opposite the mrt station. praying hard and waiting for the rain to stop like an idiot for like half an hour. haha. miraculously, or probably because i looked like a helpless kitten, an auntie actually came over to me through a puddle of muddy water and offer me her share of umbrella. hey, now that i thought back, maybe God did know i was desperate. *sigh* what a nice auntie! i didn't know how to thank her except to keep saying thank you on our way to the train station. haha.

but anyway, i was 20 minutes late -_-

1. i went out with an ex-colleague who is almost a stranger to me.. today.. haha..
2. went to ladies night at 9pm for the first time.. and left at 10 sth cos it was just too boring..
3. been practising on heavy eye makeup but often ended up looking like a zombie. cos i have a face tht produces enough oil to deep fry an egg.
4. i've been practising this new weight losing regime that Q intro to me. mental strength. think slim... i have slim legs i have sexy legs!
5. i stopped bitching about this apple guy, and naturally he stop haunting me.
6. i've been spending too much time alone.
7. i've been spending too much money too.. and i got fired from one of the tuition assignment. LOL!
8. someone told me i'm cold and i don't feel enough.
